Who we are

Vestly is a product of XDimension LLC. We build tools that help self-directed investors understand the relationship between their psychology and their portfolio risk. When this policy says "we," "us," or "our," it means XDimension LLC.

What we collect

We collect the following information when you use Vestly:

• Email address — when you choose to save your result or sign up for updates. Providing your email is always optional; you can complete the full profiler without it.
• Quiz answers and psychology score — your responses to the 7-question investor psychology profiler and the resulting archetype and stress score.
• Portfolio holdings — the tickers, asset classes, and dollar amounts you enter into the portfolio input. This is used only to calculate your risk score and gap analysis in real time.
• Contact and feedback messages — the content of any message you send us through the contact or feedback forms, along with your email if provided.

We do not collect payment information, government IDs, or any sensitive financial account credentials.

How we use your data

• To calculate and display your investor psychology profile and gap analysis.
• To save your profile so you can return and view it later (if you provide your email).
• To respond to contact or feedback messages you send us.
• To send product updates or launch announcements, only if you opted in.

We do not use your data to make automated decisions that affect you, and we do not use it for advertising purposes.

How we store your data

Your data is stored in Upstash Redis, a cloud database hosted on infrastructure in the United States. Data at rest is encrypted. We access it only as needed to operate the service.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or until you ask us to delete it. If you have not interacted with Vestly in 24 months, we may delete your profile data.

Third parties

We use a small number of third-party services to operate Vestly:

• Vercel — hosting and serverless functions
• Upstash — database storage
• Financial Modeling Prep — market data for risk scoring (no personal data is shared)
• Finnhub — ticker search (no personal data is shared)

We do not currently sell or share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and notify users who have provided an email address before doing so.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data entirely
• Opt out of any product communications at any time

Cookies

Vestly does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We may use minimal browser storage (localStorage) to remember if you have previously accessed certain features, such as a saved session state. No data stored this way is sent to third parties.

Not financial advice

Vestly is an educational and analytical tool. Nothing on this platform constitutes personalized investment advice. Your psychology profile and risk scores are based on your self-reported inputs and historical market data. Always consult a qualified financial professional before making investment decisions.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify users who have provided an email address.
